And ZOMG so many people in the comments are idiots.
I do like a lot of the Consumerist's reporting, but the commentary over there is balls. Guess what -- we do see a *ton* of pull-down scalds, and very frequently those are from noodle-cups. Sometimes parents make mistakes. Sometimes kids are hyper. I love how a significant percentage of people in the comments there are completely perfect parents who have never spilled anything, ever.
There's wanting to keep the Government out of your everything (which I disagree with, but which is a super popular sentiment over there) and then there's maybe having some compassion for burned kids and parents who already feel bad enough. Sheesh.
